Irina Shayk, born Irina Valeryevna Shaykhlislamova and also credited as Irina Sheik was born on January 6, 1986 in Yemanzhelinsk to the family of coal miner and a music teacher. Irina has such exotic look due to her father’s Tatar origin. She says that she got her light eyes from her mother. She is known for her 2007 through 2011 appearances in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. Irina is the cover model for the Sports Illustrated 2011issue.

Irina was affected from her mother and started to play piano at 6 and then enrolled in a music school. She studied there for 7 years, both singing in the core and also playing piano. Irina had a poor family and his father died when she was 14. Her mother had to work two jobs to provide her family.

Irina Shayk studied marketing after high school but she was not happy so she entered a local beauty school with her sister Tatiana.
